Auction organization
Auction sales take place during online auctions, which nowadays provide the best form of promotion. Information about the auction is also posted on the largest international auction platforms, such as sixbid.com and biddr.com. The most interesting items are showcased at the major European fairs preceding the World Money Fair in Berlin. We also prepare promotional videos and social media posts.
Instant payout
The payment method is up to you. Payout for sold items can be made in cash, which you can collect by appointment, or via bank transfer to the account you specify. For more extensive cooperation, we can also deliver the cash to you.
We successfully organized one of the largest auction series in Poland, during which a collection of so-called "small PRL" banknotes was auctioned. Without a doubt, it was a unique and exceptional event that stood out in the auction market.
Preliminary Valuation of Coins and Banknotes
We understand that knowing the value of your coins or banknotes is often the first step in deciding whether to sell, grade, or auction them. That’s why we offer a quick and convenient preliminary valuation, available remotely via phone or email.
To provide an accurate initial estimate, we ask that you send clear, high-resolution photos of your items. Please include images showing the entire coin or banknote, any fine details, serial numbers (if applicable), and any signs of wear or damage. Based on these images, we can give you an approximate market value range and offer professional guidance on potential next steps, including grading or preparing your items for sale or auction.
While this preliminary valuation gives a useful starting point, it’s important to remember that the true value of coins and banknotes can only be determined through an in-person inspection. Many factors – such as subtle wear, the condition of fine details, authenticity, and any previous treatments – cannot be fully assessed from photos alone. For this reason, our experts always conduct a personal, hands-on evaluation to ensure a precise and reliable final valuation.
By combining the convenience of remote assessment with the certainty of expert, in-person appraisal, we provide our clients with both speed and confidence. You’ll quickly understand the potential value of your collection, while knowing that our final evaluation reflects the true market worth of each item.
We invite you to send your photos or reach out by phone today – every item is treated with the utmost care and professionalism, and each valuation is tailored individually to your collection. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or exploring the market for the first time, our team ensures that your coins and banknotes receive the attention and expertise they deserve.
If you have a collection of old coins, medals, or decorations—or if you have discovered them tucked away in a drawer, inherited them from a relative, or received them as a gift—it is essential to handle and store them with care. Proper storage is the first and most important step in preserving their historical, sentimental, and financial value.
The simplest and safest method for coins, medals, and decorations is to place each item individually in a paper envelope or wrap it carefully in acid-free tissue paper. Store these envelopes in a dry, stable environment, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, or high humidity, all of which can accelerate corrosion, tarnishing, or deterioration. Avoid any attempts to wash, polish, or rub your items, as even seemingly minor interventions can significantly reduce their market and collector value. Items with patina or natural aging should remain untouched, as these characteristics are often considered part of their historical authenticity and appeal.
The same principles apply to banknotes and paper currency, which are highly sensitive to improper handling. Washing, ironing, or using chemical cleaners can cause irreversible damage to paper fibers, inks, and security features. Even a rare and potentially valuable note can lose significant value if mishandled. The safest approach is to place each banknote in a paper envelope or a protective sleeve designed for archival storage and keep it in a dry, flat location. Banknotes should never be folded, creased, or bent, as these marks are permanent and will diminish their collector’s value.
Additionally, it is advisable to label each envelope with key information, such as the item’s origin, date, or any known history, without writing directly on the coin, medal, or note itself. If you are unsure about the preservation methods or wish to maintain the highest possible value, consider consulting with a professional numismatist or paper money expert. Proper handling, storage, and documentation will ensure that your collection retains its aesthetic, historical, and financial significance for years to come.
By following these careful steps, you can protect your treasures from accidental damage, preserve their authenticity, and ensure they remain in collectible condition, whether for personal enjoyment, family inheritance, or future sale at auction.
